PAOLO FANTONI IS THE NEW PRESIDENT OF ASSOPANNELLI_ITALY
Paolo Fantoni is the new president of Assopannelli, the Federlegno Arredo Association that represents the Italian companies producing panels and semi-finished wood products, elected by the general assembly to succeed the outgoing president Nicoletta Azzi.
Vice President of Fantoni spa and President of Fantoni Blu, he has held various top management roles within Federlegno Arredo: first as Director of Assufficio and then for several years Vice President, for a long time he was head of the Chipboard Group of Assopannelli, of which he also held the office of Chairman. He is co-founder of the EPF (European Panel Federation) of Brussels, the European association of chipboard and MDF panel manufacturers born from the merger of EMB and FESYP, and since June 2015 he has been its President. Also elected the new Presidency Council of Assopannelli for the four-year period 2020-2024. Environmental sustainability, the circular economy and the European Green Deal will guide operations in the near future.
