VECOPLAN AT LIGNA: There will be something for everyone
At LIGNA, Vecoplan will show shredders, conveyors and processing plants for the wood and recycling industry as well as for the wood working industry.
Vecoplan AG actually presents itself with two booths at the LIGNA 2017, the international trade fair for the forestry and timber industry (22 to 26 May, Hanover/Germany). The manufacturer of plants and machinery for shredding, conveying and processing of primary and secondary raw materials thereby not only appeals to companies from the wood and recycling industries. Also, wood processing companies will find promising solutions. Vecoplan, for example, shows the single-shaft shredders series VAZ, suitable for various applications. At the main booth F50 in Hall 25 Vecoplan presents prototypes of this series for sawmills or manufacturers of wood-based materials. Single-shaft shredders are universal and frequently used machines that, in most applications, do not require any additional feeding systems. Operators can feed the collected material directly and undosed into the hopper. The hydraulically driven ram simply and quickly pushes the material to the shredding unit. Due to its extremely low rotor speed, the vertical tasks are effected at low noise and dust levels. The VAZ 1100 XL e. g. has a rotor diameter of 370 mm, a material outlet of 1,075 mm and a height of 1,100 mm. In hall 12 on stand C22, Vecoplan presents an extremely compact system from this series which is particularly suitable for woodworking companies. For the rotors, Vecoplan trusts on the dynamic, high-torque and powerful HiTorc drives. These have no mechanical elements such as belt drives or clutches. Compared to hydraulic drives, this means almost no maintenance work. And, because less mass has to be moved, the HiTorc drives are particularly energy-efficient. Vecoplan also shows the drum chipper VTH 45/10/2 U at the main booth. These wood chippers stand out by their enormous throughput capacity. They are stationary machines with horizontal feeding unit and are designed with a fast-turning chipping knife rotor that comminute input material free of foreign material, short or long waste wood from the cutting and wood processing industry. Operators use these economic systems to produce e.g. fuel chips for energy production or high quality chips for the cellulose industry. Furthermore, for the production of energy chips for thermic use in biomass power plants, Vecoplan presents the biomass chipper VTH 105/60/4 B with feeding conveyor. Of course, these machines can also be supplied with the powerful HiTorc direct drive. Because LIGNA attracts users from different industries and with different concerns, Vecoplan is dividing its booth into theme islands. These include, among others, biomass, sawmill, waste wood processing or service. For more information contact Mrs Karin Theine, Corporate Communication:
