Casadei and Busellato: the two companies joined forces to establish a commercial and production alliance.
Casadei Busellato Team Work was founded in 2008 from the merger of two historical names in the field of wood production machines - Casadei Macchine and Busellato Spa. The two companies joined forces to establish a commercial, organizational and production alliance, taking full advantage of the complementary nature of their respective products.
The historical brands of the two companies, both founded in the 1950s, were are combined with an M in the new logo (standing for “machines”) and a color (orange) that creates a visual bond identifying one organization. The underlying philosophy of the strategy deployed by the group is also reflect in production, organized using a very rational approach. To encourage the distribution dynamics, Casadei Busellato Team Work hasn’t just integrated the former commercial agreements; it has actively implemented an industrial synergy to optimize its production processes and methods, a coordinated product development plan, and a combined sales structure equipped with common sales support tools. Massimo Bobba, Casadei Busellato’s Business Unit Manager said: “More than ever, the internationalization and business in different markets via exclusive resellers are essential and important solutions. Our group offers a very wide range of solutions, so that our distributor can have and offer all that is necessary. Today the core of our business is the set-up of this sales organization, focused on identifying new markets and expanding existing ones. If I had to rank things in order of importance, I would say that our main aim is product innovation, followed by quality and last but not least, service: we try to give customers a performing product with high quality standards and efficient after-sales service carried out by skilled staff.” The Casadei Busellato plant in Thiene/Vicenza is the first result of the industrial merger, offering immediate advantages in terms of the recovery of production efficiency (without renouncing any of the previous experience), and turning differences into areas of strength. The premises include not only the production and service area, a spare parts office and a sales office, but also a permanent showroom offering practical demonstrations for user customers, sales agent training, events and special open-house occasions. With the strength of its own traditions, technological innovation and dynamic structure, Casadei Busellato and its dealers are able to ensure the best service to woodworking artisans. In Thiene production plant, a showroom has been set up to display the most important models of the company’s range of traditional machines and machining centers. The showroom therefore provides a permanent display area, ideal for product demonstrations and training for resellers and customers, or for organizing events and open-house occasions.
