Carl Götz, the most important wood-based-material, trade & distributor in Germany

With over 50 years of experience, 15 branch offices and qualified staff, Carl Götz is certainly the largest distributor of wood-based materials in Germany. Below we describe one of its subsidiaries and the sales setting, where the consumer finds the material needed to produce furniture, furnishings and building.

The branch in Ammerbuch was founded in Stuttgart in 1964. In 1972 the branch moved to Böblingen, where the company was expanded continuously during the following years. As this growth had led to a shortage of space a parcel of land was bought in the industrial area Hagen in Ammerbuch-Altingen in 1995.
In the subsequent years a new building was established, where the company moved into in 1999. The premises of approx. 15,000 sq m include a big exhibition for floors, ceilings and doors. The workforce, in this branch, consists of approx. 35 employees. Offer a wide range of timber products in our warehouse, e.g. wood-based panels, sawn timber, structural solid timber, patio decking, doors, parquet, laminate, various accessories, etc.
Having our own vehicle fleet we are able to deliver the goods to you within a few days. Furthermore, thanks to the weekly internal exchange of goods within the so-called "south rail", goods stored in Ulm or Munich can be delivered at short time. Apart from European hardwood & softwood the company also offer an extensive range of different types of wood, ranging from hardwood and softwood from North America to exotic wood. The employees are active all over the world. An important selection criterion regarding growth areas and sources of supply is not only quality but also sustainability.
Due to seaport warehouse Carl Götz can guarantee a direct and reasonably-priced delivery to the clients. Raw materials selected by timber specialists can be engraved and dried according to individual requirements. For this purpose Carl Götz use woods from North America, Africa and Europe.
