The new advertising campaign on certified wood for door and window frames has been launched: 'Think about the future, change to wood'.
Giampiero Paganoni, President of Fedecomlegno in collaboration with Edillegno and Federlegno Arredo, has officially launched a new initiative to promote certified wood: “Think about the future, change to wood”.
The advertising campaign is characterized by a picture showing a beautiful mountain, a forest, a bright blue sky and a window with a wooden frame. The aim of this is to convey the message that, by using wooden frames, CO2 is captured, the air that we breathe becomes better and there is also the plus of considerable energy saving.
The first stage of the campaign was the creation of the PENSALEGNO website, which will become the focal point of the initiative, and on which all subjects related to wooden door and window frames will be dealt with.
Vero Legno is circulating a tender on the 2009 green pages and Promolegno will help spread the message to the Italian market. Thanks to the support of sponsors, the second stage will involve the use of newspapers/magazines, radio and conventions.
Various associations of sawn wood manufacturers and various companies have indicated their interest, thus boding well for the success of the initiative. During these difficult market times, it is important to highlight the characteristics of wood together with the eco-friendly, energy saving benefits of this renewable material.
