The “German Brand Award” is initiated by the German Design Council and the German Brand Institute and honours path-breaking brands, brand creators and brand concepts. At a celebratory gala event in Berlin, this distinction conferred for the first time. The category “Industry Excellence in Branding” appreciates the best product and company brands of the 34 most important economic sectors. Within the branch “Consumer Goods”, Wagner is winner of the “German Brand Award”.
The imaginative manufacturer produces in two factories in Lahr/Black consumer goods in the best sense of the word, in particular, a wide range of good designed and practical everyday products für the use in home, garden, workshop and office. Under the umbrella brand “WAGNER – design yourself” the family company develops, produces and distributes the product lines castors & wheels, furniture legs, furniture glides, doorstops, transport helpers and plant trolleys. Connecting elements of all collections are a creative-systemic solution approach, well-engineered functional details, demand for simple application as well as a high-quality materials and outstanding workmanship. A further characteristic of the products that are distributed under the brand “WAGNER – design yourself” is their good design, many of them are awarded with design prizes.
